UserCrowd is for those who have spare time and are looking to earn extra income by completing surveys, usability tests, and interviews. If you enjoy giving feedback on digital products specifically, you should enjoy the work the platform offers. That said, don't expect to earn a fortune or receive a consistent stream of work; UserCrowd is a side hustle.
Best For
UserTesting is for those looking to conduct user tests and/or those looking to get paid to participate in them. If you're the former, the platform offers a wide range of tools and assistance to help you get your test done right. If you're the latter, UserTesting can provide a nice side income -- but, keep in mind that it won't replace a full-time job.

Pros
- Has decent earning potential which comes out to around $0.20 per minute with tests and $0.75 or more per minute with interviews.
- You still get an incentive when screened out of a test.
Pros
- Good pay. $15-$60 USD/hour is an extremely good average hourly rate.
- Tests are fun and interesting. We've done tests for some well-known companies, which is really cool.
- Weekly payments.
Cons
- Has limited earning opportunities available, and this can vary greatly based on your demographics.
- Inconsistent earnings because of limited availability of earning opportunities.
- If your response is not at par with the guidelines, it will not be paid.
Cons
- Not a job replacement.
- PayPal payments only.
- You might not get accepted. If UserTesting already has enough testers from your country, they might decline your application.
