How Does Zogo Work?
For Members
Zogo members can earn Pineapples (the platform's currency) by completing learning modules, referring friends, and participating in community events. 1 Pineapple = $0.001-$0.002. After accumulating $5.00 (~2,500-5,000 Pineapples), pineapples can be exchanged for gift cards or donated to charities.
Getting Started 🔢
Becoming a Zogo member is free. To get started, download the app and create an account. You can do this by signing in via Google or signing up using your verified U.S. mobile number.
Sign up bonus: 500 Pineapples as a Sponsor Bonus (when you select a sponsor partner from within the app, if available).
Earning Money 💵
The main way to earn Pineapples on Zogo is by completing learning modules. Modules are organized into Skills (like saving, investing, and more) and each module contains 5 snippets of information and 5 quiz questions. You can freely navigate between snippets to learn the material, but once you enter the quiz portion of a module, you must complete it in full.
For each question you get wrong in a quiz, you'll lose a heart. You have 5 hearts in total, and you either have to wait four (4) hours for a heart to regenerate, or you can pay 100 Pineapples to refill a heart instantly. If you run out of hearts, you won't be able to answer any more quiz questions until they regenerate.
When you successfully finish a quiz, the number of Pineapples and XP you earn depends on how well you did. XP helps you level up your account, and each level you gain will give you access to more modules. You'll also earn a Streak point for completing at least one module every day, but streaks don't offer any additional rewards, they're simply for motivation.
Once you finish all the modules for a particular Skill, you'll be rewarded with a badge for that Skill.
You can earn additional Zogo Pineapples through:
- The referral program. Share your referral code with your friends to earn 1000 Pineapples per referral. They must verify their email address and complete three (3) modules to be eligible. You can track your friend’s progress in the in-app Friends Leaderboard.
- Community events. Zogo holds community events regularly such as the Pineapple Party, community challenge video submissions, and more. The Pineapple Party is a daily financial trivia game with Pineapple rewards that can be boosted with your Streak multiplier.
Cashing Out 💰
Once you have at least $5.00 (~2,500-5,000 Pineapples) in your balance, you can cash out your Zogo earnings via Charity Donations or Gift Cards.
After cashing out, you can expect to receive your Zogo payout in 0-2 days.

The overall premise of Zogo is great
The overall premise of Zogo is great, and at first using it is also amazing with being able to make money and learn about some finance topics (for some people). But after you make $5, the incentive for the app decreases majorly, and stops being worth it to use after that.
I would definitely recommend it to younger people, who should learn more about finances, and it gives them an opportunity to make an easy $5 with enough time. But after making that $5, I can't think of that many reasons to stay on the app.
- Being able to learn and make money at the same time
- Amazon payouts and other variety of gift cards to choose from
- After you earn $5 and withdraw from Zogo, the amount you must get next to withdraw becomes $10, which would much longer to get than $5, making one not want to use the app much after earning $5
- It is a ref only program
- Try to earn $5 initially, and then after that, figure out if you still want to keep using Zogo as the payout threshold increases
