The types of tests you may encounter include:

• User experience / usability testing. These types of tests are available to all users, beta testers and QA testers. No experience is required for them, and they typically involve using a website or app as a normal user while looking for simple issues or confusing experiences.
• QA testing. If you get into this role, you'll be doing more involved testing looking for things like bugs, helping with localization, and more. You need to pass a test before being approved for this role.
• Research interview testing. This is a moderated form of testing where you'll connect directly with a client to test their product live.

You get paid hourly when completing testing projects. Your hourly rate is based on your level and experience, testing location, and the project's complexity upon sign-up and certification (optional).

Once you have earned any amount of money (there's no minimum payout), you can cash out your Ubertesters earnings via Direct Deposit, Gift Cards or PayPal.

After cashing out, you can expect to receive your Ubertesters payout in 1-60 days. (Payouts are sent by the end of the next month at the latest once the project is completed and confirmed by the project manager.)
