How Does Tryber Work?
For Testers
Tryber testers can sign up, learn how to complete tasks through free courses on the platform, and then earn money by testing and providing feedback on a variety of products and services. Earnings can then be cashed out via PayPal or direct deposit to a bank account.
Getting Started:
Becoming a Tryber tester is free. To get started, you can create an account through the Tryber website by providing your first name, last name, email, country of residence, date of birth, and password. Alternatively, you can also create your account by signing up via Facebook or LinkedIn.
Once your account is created and you're logged in, you'll be directed to your user dashboard. Here, you'll see your stats and a list of available campaigns.
Before you start applying to campaigns, Tryber recommends that you:
- Fill in your profile. This involves providing personal info like your spoken language(s), phone number, employment, and education as well as fiscal information like your address and tax ID. Providing your personal info will increase your chances of being invited to paid campaigns, while providing your fiscal information is required in order to be paid.
- Add your devices to the 'Devices' menu list. Different paid campaigns require different devices. Adding your devices (e.g. desktop PC, smartphone, etc.) to your profile ensures you can apply to relevant opportunities.
- Take the basic Tryber courses. These are free courses that will teach you more about how to complete tasks and earn money on Tryber. They'll also certify you for certain paid campaigns and award you with experience points.
Speaking of experience points, as you gain them, you'll increase your Tryber level. A higher level can help you qualify for more (and higher paying) campaigns. You can gain more experience and increase your level further by completing Challenge Campaigns, which are unpaid campaigns that involve things like training activities, social media participation, bug finding, and similar.
Earning money:
Once you're set up on Tryber, you can start applying to paid campaigns. You can find these either on your dashboard or via email.
Paid campaigns can involve testing websites, apps, video games, and more.
Depending on the type of campaign, you may be tasked with:
- Finding bugs
- Uncovering security vulnerabilities
- Providing user experience / usability reports
- etc.
Before applying to a campaign, you can read the campaign's description and details to get a general idea of the type of work you'll be doing, the types of device(s) you'll need, how much you can expect to get paid, and the deadline.

Editorial Tryber Review
Is Tryber Legit?
We believe Tryber is legit, but would warn that it still seems to be a relatively unknown platform around the web. With the platform being founded in 2015 as AppQuality Crowd (rebranded as Tryber in January 2022), we expected to be able to find more third-party sources talking about it online. This lack of an online presence doesn't make us believe Tryber is a scam – it could even be seen as a positive as we couldn't find any negative postings about the platform either – but it is a bit strange.
Green flags:
- Posts regularly to social media.
- Includes team members in social media posts and videos.
- Is backed by a legitimate SRL company based in Italy.
- Was easy to find the founders of the parent company.
- The Tryber website gives an honest overview of how the platform works and how users can get involved (though a more detailed publicly available FAQ page would be nice to see).
Red flags:
- Limited online presence (few or no blogs, reviews, or forum postings about the platform online).
- Rewards its users (with experience points, not money) to engage on social media, so the comments and likes on their posts aren't all organic. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it is good to know.
Note: All research is done independently and could be wrong or change as new information is gathered. Please do your own due diligence.

Nice platform
The different activities are all very exciting
Sometimes during campaigns some TLs (test leaders) do not respond and you are not always selected
Attend the courses and take part in the Career Challenges, The coaches are very well prepared

Well made
I like the design of the site, is well made. The managers of the campaigns answer fast to the emails. When you are selected for a campaign they send you a mail, and if you do not start it they send you some reminders. When a campaign is going to start, and is compatible with your profile they send you a mail.
It can be a bit stressful and takes time, sometimes a lot of time.
Experience points can be lost when reported bugs are rejected or approved but you have to make changes (but not always, maybe because I was new.. but one bug was reject but I did not lose points). You also lose points when you fail to successfully complete a campaign for which you applied and were subsequently selected.
Why become a Tryber
I believe Tryber is a platform giving you the possibility to play, have a little fun and spend some time learning something and sometimes earning few Euro. It is not a real job. Except for ethical hackers who can earn a lot, but they are on a higher level.
Platform has a simple but very nice interface. You can find any information about campaigns and manuals about how participate correctly. Every campaign is followed by a Tryber Leader and we can contact him by Telegram.
If a campaign does not give a payment, you can earn Experience Points and move your position in a special rank.
Payment speed. Payment speed usually needs 20 days.
