Earning Money ๐ต
There are two primary ways to earn money on Truelancer:
Option #1: Doing Jobs
This is the primary way to earn money on Truelancer. You can browse jobs on the platform similar to how you would on any other freelance marketplace. Filters are also available to narrow down your search.
When you find a job you're interested in, send a proposal with a price quote and a brief introduction.
Keep in mind, you have a limited number of free proposals each month. You can purchase more if needed, but it's still a good idea to use them sparingly.
If you're selected from a job, you'll be able to communicate with the client directly through Truelancer to get the job done. Once the work is approved, you'll be paid.
Option #2: Participating in Contests
Truelancer contests offer a unique way to showcase your creative skills and potentially earn money.
Clients launch contests seeking talented freelancers to bring their logos, app designs, and website mockups to life. Participating in contests allows you to demonstrate your abilities to a wide audience of potential clients.
Keep in mind that contests can be competitive, with numerous freelancers submitting entries. In most contests, there will only be one winner chosen by the client. The winner will receive the prize money and the client will only have rights to use the winning design.
Even if you don't win, the experience can be valuable. You'll gain exposure for your work, potentially build your portfolio with strong contest entries, and positive client feedback can significantly boost your credibility on the platform, making you more attractive to future project opportunities.
Cashing Out ๐ฐ
Once you have earned any amount of money (there's no minimum payout), you can cash out your Truelancer earnings via Payoneer or PayPal.
After cashing out, you can expect to receive your Truelancer payout in 1-10 days. (Truelancer doesn't provide any exact timeframes on payout speeds.)
