What is TreasureTrooper?

5 Ways to Make Money on TreasureTrooper
There are over ten different ways to earn money on Treasure Trooper, so you've got a lot of options. They don't all carry equal earning potential though.
1. Cash Offers
Cash offers on Treasure Trooper include surveys, promotional offers, app installs, and more.

Some of them require a purchase to fully credit (the trial offers specifically) so watch out for those.
The offers that don't require a purchase pay around $0.20-$1.00 each. What's annoying is that you can't see how long a specific offer might take, so it's a bit of a shot in the dark.
Each offers pays either cash, platinum coins, or dragon scales (more on those last two later).
Tips:
- Check the “Recent Approvals” on the left-hand side of the screen. This can give you an idea of which offers credit successfully.
- Be sure to click “Done” on an offer after you complete it – This is how you get your credit.
2. Surveys
The cash surveys page on Treasure Trooper gives you access to more paid surveys from a variety of third-party providers.
The first things you'll see here are two panel routers:
- Study Storm – A collection of third-party survey providers including YourSurvey, RevenueWall, and TheoremReach. Lots of different ways to earn here.
- Survey Seeker – Treasure Troopers calls this their private survey panel but the offers seem to link to 3rd parties research companies anyway.
The other surveys you'll see here are the daily surveys:

Completing the same daily surveys multiple days in a row will give you bonus dragon scales.
Tips:
- If you don't care for the dragon game (more on that later), I'd stick to the Study Storm and Survey Seeker walls for best hourly rates.
- Clear your cookies/cache after you complete a survey for a better chance of crediting.
3. Paid Searches
Yup, Treasure Trooper has its own search engine, and you can get paid to use it.

As you search you'll earn arrowheads. After 100 searches you can get a dragon egg (only 3 searches/day count toward this though).
You can make the Treasure Trooper engine your default search engine to ensure more rewards, but personally, I'll stick with Google.
Tip: Don't just spam random searches. That's like, rookie mistake #1. It rarely works and will likely just get you banned. If you want to earn from this, your searches need to be legit.
4. Shopping
This opportunity seems to be unavailable as of June 2023.
If you want to get paid to shop, Treasure Trooper can help you there too…sorta.

By shopping through their links you'll earn cashback straight to your Treasure Trooper account.
As a bonus, you'll also earn one platinum coin each time you earn $5 in cash back.
Only problem is, when I checked, there were only 50 stores to choose from. Rakuten and other more established cash back sites will give you a much better selection.
Hopefully Treasure Trooper expands their partnerships soon to make this a more viable earning opportunity.
5. Paid Videos
Treasure Trooper's cash video offers will literally pay you to run videos on your web browser.
Unfortunately, when I went to test this no videos were available. Might be due to where I live, but either way, it was disappointing to see.
6. Arrowhead Dig Sites
Don't get things mixed up here, these “arrowhead dig sites” are just third-party offer walls.
This includes Peanut Labs, OfferToro, and several others ones.
The reason for the name is because instead of earning cash here, you'll earn arrowheads, which can be exchanged at the currency conversion shop (more on that below).
7. Dragon Breeding
This is where Treasure Trooper really sets itself apart. They have an entire dragon mini-game :O
Even though I'd never played it before writing this review, it feels nostalgic:

Not only can you grow, breed, and sell dragons in your lair, but you can also train them and battle them against other users' dragons.
For each fight you win, you'll get a reward. And, each dragon you sell nets you cold hard cash (up to $100).
That being said, I wouldn't recommend actually trying to milk this game for money. While it's a neat feature, it's not a quick money-maker.

8. Cryptic Codes
These are similar to Swag codes (read my full Swagbucks review to learn about those).
Basically, if you find a cryptic code, you can enter it under “Redeem -> Cryptic Treasure” for a reward.
Browse the TT forums, chat room, and social media accounts for codes. Check the email newsletters too.
9. Games, Contests, and Other
Some other ways to earn on Treasure Trooper include games like jungle slots, chatroom bingo, and treasure hunting.

You can also win money and other rewards through the monthly contests. When I checked there was a raffle contest with multiple $5 prizes given out.
Oh, and as mentioned above, you can earn an extra $0.50 each month by submitting a payment proof photo to TT.
10. Referrals
The referral program on Treasure Trooper is actually pretty lucrative. There are four tiers:
- Bronze – No requirement. Earn 20% of all referral earnings + 5% from secondary referrals. Unlimited earnings.
- Silver – Requires 5 active referrals. Get all of the above plus 5 cents for each daily survey a referral completes.
- Gold – Requires 50 active referrals. Get all of the above plus a $1 bonus for each active referral and 7 cents for each daily survey a referral completes.
- Diamond – Requires 300 active referrals. Get all of the above plus $5 for first-time referral cashouts, 10 cents for each daily survey completed by referrals, and a one time $300 cash bonus.
To count as an active referral, they must earn at least $5.
Tip: With 8 pearls you can buy a friendship bracelet from the trading hut, which awards you with 2 referrals.
TreasureTrooper Tips and Tricks to Earn More Money
Ok, now that you know how to make money on TreasureTrooper, let's look at some tips to help you earn more in less time.
1. Know the Treasure Trooper Currency Conversions
Ok, we're finally going to talk about all these crazy different currencies that Treasure Trooper has.
Here's my scrappy conversion chart:
- 1 Arrowhead = $0.01 (trade these for platinum coins at the currency converter for the best value).
- 1 Platinum coin = $1 (can be exchanged for gift cards or other rewards like electronics).
- 1 Dragon scale = $0.20 (can be used in Coggs Coop for dragon items).
- 1 Pearl = $0.50 (eight pearls can be used to make a friendship bracelet that awards you 2 referrals).
- 1 Gold coin = $0.50 (can be used in the jungle slots or at the trading hut for various goods).
Keep in mind, technically none of these currencies are actually worth real money. The chart above is just based on the currency converter offered on the site and the value of items in the trading hut.
2. Join the Chat Room
It's not always super active, but you can receive random rewards for hanging out in the chat room. I got a gold coin and met some cool people in there too.

3. Check the Forums

Again, not super active here either. You'll see a lot of guests browsing but not a ton of registered users.
Still, there are some handy threads and guides you can find here.
4. Contribute to Team Goals
Around the site you’ll find community goals where you can work together with everyone else on the site.
Here's what they look like:

By completing different tasks you can contribute to certain team goals. Then, you'll get rewarded if the overall goal is met.
For example, if enough paid searches are made and you contributed at least 10 searches to the goal, you’ll get some bonus rewards like a pearl and dragon scale.
5. Check the Activity Feed for Task Ideas
On the right-hand side of your Treasure Trooper dashboard, take a look at the “Happening Now!” feed.

Here you can see what the rest of the Treasure Trooper community is getting up to. This can help you find earning opportunities that are already working for others.
6. Listen to Clara the Guide
When you first sign up you'll be seeing Clara a lot. She's a helpful guide on Treasure Trooper.

Because the platform is a bit confusing at first, reading Clara's tips can be helpful.
How to Cash Out Your TreasureTrooper Earnings
The minimum payout/cash out amount on TreasureTrooper is $20.00 (~2,000-2,128 Arrowheads). So, you'll need to first earn at least that much before being able to redeem your earnings.
Payouts on TreasureTrooper can be received via Check, Gift Cards, PayPal or Prepaid Credit Cards.
Note: Gift cards must be redeemed with platinum coins (which can be acquired with arrowheads).
After hitting the payout threshold and/or requesting a cash out, you can expect to receive your reward/earnings right away or within up to 31 days.
Note: Payments are processed on the 15th (and sent by the 20th) of each month for the previous month's earnings. U.S. users with verified PayPal accounts can request instant payouts (for $0.50) once per month.
