Toluna is an OG paid survey site with a good variety of paid tasks, (sometimes) interesting surveys, unique community aspects, a responsive support team, and good rewards, but it's not perfect. Pay rates are quite low, survey quantity isn't the best, and payments can take up to 3 weeks. Overall, it's worth trying, but don't set your expectations too high.

That said, as with all survey sites, they do collect quite a bit of data. Most of it is demographic, but some is still personally identifying. Based on their privacy policy, they seem to care about protecting your personal information and keeping it confidential, but as mentioned above, there are cases where your data may be shared.
As always, I'd recommend using a secondary email address for Toluna (and any other survey sites you use). Be sure to create a fresh password as well. And, if you follow a link to a third party (i.e. not Toluna), be sure to read that third party's privacy policy before providing any sensitive info.

How Toluna works
I started answering payed surveys in my life with this platform when I was still studying at the university and I enjoyed to earn prizes through this kind of platforms.
You can earn everyday with the brief surveys and other than the surveys you can express your opinion freely about whatever you want in their homepage.
Is not possible to earn in every survey you click to participate, there will be many occasions that the platform will drop out you and you have to wait to have the enough quantity to redeem your prize and wait a little more to have your reward. And the thing I like the least are the games sections: are very few and almost always you don't earn any points, it has no sense to me that they promise an earning when almost never win even few points.
To participate in every survey you can, to check the blog for any contest, and after you redeem your prize and use it you can post a photo of what you buy with your prize to earn bonus points.
Easy to use and also it takes less time and attention to be dedicated in this app
Toluna is pretty good in earning money and I highly recommend it to anyone. Toluna's survey takes around 20-40 minutes and it pays well.
- Easy to Use. Toluna's user interface is really simple and it's easy to learn.
- High rewards. Toluna gives high rewards on average. Each survey is estimated at $0.81. After 5-6 surveys you can already cashout your money.
- Few surveys. Most of toluna's surveys will be taken out fast so you got to keep yourself updated or you will not get any.
- Payout Processing. Toluna's payout processing takes about 4 weeks to complete. I don't like that in particular.
Always check your emails for survey notification and visit the app regularly.
I would recommend the site but not for everyone
Toluna is a survey website that offers money for the participants of the surveys, they also have other ways to earn like paid polls, mini-games, lottery and challenges. They also have a system where you can earn points if you post something in the community page and gain enough engagement with other users.
In my experience, toluna can be a good source of extra money but not for every one, having a good demographics is the primary factor to have if you want success here, but despite of having bad demographics, you can still earn here but it will take time and for not big amount of money
- Community Page - One thing that set toluna different from other survey sites is how It has a community page inside the website which encourage user to post something either polls, post and others, which if your post gain enough engagement, they will give you points.
- Paid Polls - Every now and then, a paid poll can appear from your community page, it comes from one account only but they offer points every time you answer a poll.
- Monthly Activities - Toluna also offers different activities each month whether mini games, challenges/competition and others which also rewards point if you got lucky.
- Paid Personal Surveys - in your profile, there's a variety of surveys about you with different categories like hobbies, personal and many more and when you completed them, you will receive points, this surveys can be used as basis for the recommended surveys that will be send via emails.
- Regular Survey Notification in Emails - They consistently notify you in your emails if there's a possible survey match, the more you answer the personal paid surveys, the more accurate the recommended survey will be.
- No Available Surveys - More often than not, the surveys section of the page are empty, there is no guarantee that you have any surveys to participate in everyday, and you are not always qualified in the surveys if there is any.
- Hard Qualifications - most surveys are about advertisements of products, so they most of the time look for the expense decision maker of the house, if you are a student, you may not qualify on 3 out of 5 surveys available. And sometimes you can spend time on a survey and be suddenly cut off because you aren't qualified on the surveys only to be compensated by giving you few points.
- Long and Exhaustive Surveys - the surveys are most of the time takes hours to finish, although those type of surveys have high rewards, it is really hard and will take a lot of patience to finish.
- Try to answer the paid personal surveys, only answer the question you are comfortable with
- Try to post something everyday at the community page
- Participate at the monthly events
- Don't try to join any lottery at the website
- Look out for the paid polls, they have time limits

The site is becoming more competitive
I love the website nevertheless since I can still earn money from it by merely answering surveys. But my earnings definitely slowed down. Within seconds, some surveys are immediately gone because the quota is met. I still recommend the site because I do not need to use critical thinking to answer surveys.

I havenât encountered any negative things yet. I also find it fun and easy to use since I am able to share my thoughts and opinions on some topics. Iâm already enjoying using it since it also acts like a social media account. I am able to earn money in my freetime without worrying about the uncertainties.
Personally, I would recommend Toluna since beer money sites are honestly not expected to give us huge amounts of money. I also find some surveys fun to answer especially when there are videos or images used. This is great for those who get bored of answering surveys that are not interesting to them.
This site would be enjoyable for people like me who love to express their thoughts and opinions on topics. Toluna would definitely be enjoyable for those who love to write and read. Although it could be non-enjoyable for those who get frustrated easily since there are a lot of surveys that you will suddenly be rejected.
