Who Is Streetbees For?

How Does Streetbees Work?

For Bees

Getting Started 🔢
To become a Streetbees member (bee), download the application from either the Google Play or Apple App Store and register using your mobile number. The app will send you an SMS with a code to verify your account.
You'll then be asked to provide your date of birth and gender, which will help Streetbees provide you with relevant opportunities going forward. You can also set up your notification preferences at this point to decide if and how you want to receive survey notifications, tips, and other offers from Streetbees.
After signup, you'll be asked to share your location for relevant surveys. This is required to access surveys, but you can choose to just share your location once (though you'll have to do this each time you open the app).

Earning Money 💵
Streetbees offers two main ways to earn money:
- Stories. Stories are where you can share your honest opinions about various topics. This usually involves answering questions from a chatbot in a texting-style format. In some cases, you may also have to take a photo and/or video depending on the story.
- Product testing. In rare cases, Streetbees may send you a physical product to test or give you money to purchase and review a product.
- Referrals. For each new bee you invite to the platform, you can earn up to $5. To qualify, your referral must sign up via your link or referral code and complete at least three paid stories within the first 30 days of signup. The reward can vary depending on who you refer, and you can only invite 10 new bees per month.
Cashing Out 💰
Once you have earned any amount of money (there's no minimum payout), you can cash out your Streetbees earnings via PayPal.

In general, I would recommend it to pretty much anyone who wants to make some extra money
I think it's a very good survey app overall. It's certainly easy to use, and the stories are generally fun and well-paying. The format is quite different from other survey apps/websites, and that kind of helps keep it interesting. It definitely comes with its frustrations, but in my opinion, those things don't come up on a frequent enough basis to keep me from using the app. It can require a little patience because there are occasional "dry spells" when none of the stories seem especially good or relevant, but other times it can be a nice source of extra money. I would definitely recommend it to pretty much anyone who is interested in an easy way to make extra spending money.
- Many of the stories pay really well, and there are usually quite a few that can easily fit into whatever I'm doing in a day. Many of them revolve around food, so that is usually nice.
- I like that it's an app! Sometimes I find websites easier to use and navigate for things like this, but being able to do the surveys on my phone and while I'm out and about is very convenient.
- It's kind of fun! The stories can be tedious at times, but most of the time I find them really enjoyable to take part in.
- The app has an activity page which tells how many stories you have completed and the total amount of money you have earned. The earnings from the last few months are shown on a line graph, so it's easy to compare your activity by the month.
- They pay directly to PayPal. I like websites/apps that offer gift cards and things like that, but I really appreciate the ones that just directly give me money that I can spend wherever I want.
- They have recently added a referral program. I haven't used it yet, but it sounds nice.
- Most of the stories can be completed multiple times, usually once every 24 hours.
- Sometimes it can be very easy to make a relatively large amount of money using Streetbees. Sometimes when there are multiple stories running at once that are relevant to things I tend to do, the money adds up very quickly. When I first started using it I was on a vacation, and submitting stories about the food I got from restaurants while I was there ended up covering the cost of all the souvenirs I got.
- They occasionally send products through the mail for you to test! This has only happened to me once with Streetbees, but the item they sent me was worth about $20, and I got paid $10 to test and review it. On another occasion, I once got paid about $15 to buy and review a certain candy bar. Those kinds of opportunities are so much fun, and they're definitely good value.
- Sometimes the stories take much longer than expected to complete, and they don't always pay an amount that I feel is worth the time. Some of them pay off really well, but I've taken some that have been worth less than fifty cents and took about a half hour to finish. If I knew in advance that it would take so long, I probably wouldn't do those, but once I've started one and have gotten far enough to really see how long it's taking, I feel like I might as well finish.
- Support can be kind of hit or miss. I don't have issues with Streetbees on a regular basis, but a few times when I DID have problems and contacted support, they have kind of avoided answering my questions and/or given really vague/unhelpful explanations. For example, one time I felt pretty certain that after I had completed a story and was waiting to be paid for it, the value dropped below what it was supposed to have been. I had noticed this a few times before and had a few other minor questions as well, so I sent a message to support. They answered my other questions but didn't even acknowledge the question about the drop in payment. I have had some good experiences with them too, though.
- Sometimes stories get rejected for seemingly no reason, which can be frustrating when you've put a lot of time into it. Similarly, sometimes when I've asked about stories being rejected, they've told me that the reason was because my response wasn't quite what they were looking for (I can't think of a specific example, but it would be something like if the topic of the story was baked goods, so you fill out the story about a muffin you're eating, and then get rejected because it was supposed to be about cookies). I think this would be fine if they would be clear about that from the beginning, or include questions that would disqualify the user and end the story (which is something they sometimes do), but finding out after you've already put so much time into it is pretty annoying.
- Sometimes certain stories involve doing things at times when it is kind of inconvenient. The main problem here is that you usually can't just skip questions and have to answer them in order to proceed at all. When I have stories that involve taking pictures of food, it can be annoying because the food will be ready and I have to try to go through a bunch of questions as quickly as possible in order to take a picture of it. Sometimes I just put some placeholder text in the boxes so I can skip ahead and then go back and answer them after the photos are taken and the meal is over, but it would be nice to not have to do that (and not risk missing a question). I think I would prefer it if the pictures always came first, or if there was an option to skip certain questions until the end.
- Certain stories have questions which, if answered a certain way, will disqualify you from completing the story. This is fine, but what I don't like is that sometimes after this happens, the story will completely disappear from your feed. My main issue with this is that many of them are ones that I could have still completed later that day, especially if they're about a certain kind of food. Even if the food I was eating when I first tried to complete the story wasn't a good match for whatever the topic was, something else that I have later might be, so it's kind of annoying to have it totally removed for the entire day because of that.
- Fill out as much of the stories as you can in advance of when you actually need to do them (although this should definitely be limited to only information you already know in advance, as some questions will directly require you to wait until you're actively experiencing something, or are finished)
- Before you submit a story, look over your answers to make sure you didn't leave anything out (especially if you do what I sometimes do and insert some placeholder text in order to skip certain questions for later!). Leaving something unanswered by accident will lead to a rejection, so it's a good idea to read over absolutely everything before submitting.
- For the stories that involve taking pictures, make sure that the pictures are clear and any labels on packages are plainly visible.
- In general, go into as much detail as possible with your responses.
- For stories that are about food that you're eating while out and about, it's a good idea to save receipts, because they will usually ask for a picture of it.
- Even though you'll occasionally run across stories that seem like they just don't pay enough for the amount of time they take, don't get totally discouraged by those, because others are very quick and easy and pay really well! Plus, some of the ones that pay a small amount for a relatively long time investment do end up leading to other story opportunities, which usually seem to have better pay rates.
- I try to remember to check the app at least once a day just so I can see if there is anything available that will fit into to whatever I'm doing that day, and if there is, then I try to remember to complete the stories when I'm actually doing the task that they're relevant to. Sometimes I will save a spot by starting the story ahead of time and then resuming it later in the day when I actually need it. Sometimes, if I can, I will answer a few questions in advance so that I can make the process go by more quickly later. This comes up a lot for the stories that are about food -- if I know in advance what kind of food I'm going to be writing about, then I can answer the most basic questions long before I actually get the food.

How Streetbees works
I haven't received an answer of why they reduced the rewards but only they said that they're improving as much as they can, but I'm not so sure about that. I'd like that even if you're travelling you can do surveys abroad and be accepted to be well rewarded.
The part I like is when you finish the surveys the only thing you have to do is to wait the support approval and directly you received you reward in Paypal in few days.
Some time after I subscribe the app I noticed that the reward for the same survey argument has lowered more than 50%. For example for each survey first you were rewarded with 0,12 euro for each completed survey and now the same type of survey pays you 0,04 euro each survey and you have to do exactly the same process. And these surveys are only available very early in the morning and there's some surveys about you drinking alcohol outside, at this hour? It has no sense to me.
Other thing is that when I was travelling abroad I did some surveys in the language of the place I was in that moment but they didn't approved any of them even though I understand in this language what they were asking and put correctly what they asked.
To suscribe with another user invitation to reward him or her with a 10% of your earnings and to invite family and friends to have the same reward. Also I'd suggest to write to the support team to ask for better rewards. If more people ask is more possibile to have better earnings.

Good for a few extra bucks, but be willing to share photos/videos
