How Does Simcash Work?
For Members
Simcash members can sign up for free and earn cash by renting out their phone number(s) and referring others to the platform. After accumulating €4.00, earnings can be cashed out via crypto or bank transfer.
Getting Started 🔢
Becoming a Simcash member is free. To get started, head over to the platform's website and download the Simcash APK. When you open the app, you'll be asked to set it as your default messaging app. This is required in order to proceed.
When registering an account, you'll be asked to provide your name, email, country, phone number, and password.
Earning Money 💵
The primary way to earn money on Simcash is by renting out your phone number(s). You can rent out a single phone number or multiple (i.e. if you have multiple devices and SIM cards or your device supports more than 1 SIM card).
During setup, you can configure your SMS limits, add delays between sent messages, and select your locations and price per message. Once you're fully setup, you'll earn money for each message sent from your number.
Simcash says they use your number(s) to send one-time passwords and other automated text messages (called Application-To-Person (A2P) messages).
Another way to earn money on Simcash is with referrals. Share your referral code and earn up to 10% of your referrals' earnings. You can also earn an additional 5% if your referrals have referred users with their codes.
Cashing Out 💰
Once you have at least €4.00 in your balance, you can cash out your Simcash earnings via Cryptocurrency or Direct Deposit.
After cashing out, you can expect to receive your Simcash payout in 1-9 days. (Payouts are sent within 1-7 business days.)

Is Simcash Legit?
We believe Simcash is legit, but we wouldn't trust it with our data. On the positive side of things, it was founded in 2019, has proven to pay members, and the platform's website clearly explains how everything works. On the negative side, we couldn't find any info on the company behind the platform, the opportunity itself could pose a privacy risk and may break your SMS provider's ToS, and there's really no way to be sure what type of texts the platform is sending with your number.
Overall, we'd say the negatives outweigh the positives here, but we still don't believe Simcash is a downright scam. Just be sure to proceed with caution.

- There are payment proofs posted that prove the app pays as it claims.
- Website has clear information on how the app works and what users can expect before joining.
Red flags:
- Using the app poses a high risk to your privacy. There's also no privacy policy published on their website.

- App requires permissions to your phone's apps that may be sensitive (e.g. contacts). It also requires you to make Simcash your default messaging app, which pools all of your past text messages into Simcash.
- There's no way of knowing the type of content that's sent with your phone number.
- Lacks social media presence outside of Telegram.
- Some incomplete text on the platform's FAQ page.

Is Simcash a Good Way to Make Money?
Simcash offers an intriguing and unique opportunity, but we don't think it's worth the risk. Renting your phone number out to Simcash can result in issues with your mobile service provider and privacy problems, and the pay is not high enough to justify those risks.

Simcash has a lot of safety issues. For one, when you sign up you have to set the app as your default messaging app and give them access to things like your contacts. Second, you're giving them access to your phone number and whoever they message will be able to see your number. They could also theoretically use your number for fraudulent reasons.
On top of all this, they don't have a privacy policy and the company is operating anonymously anyway, so it's really difficult to trust them with personal data.
This all being said, you can mitigate some of these safety issues by using a separate device and burner SIM card. But, for many, that won't be a viable option.

While the fact that Simcash offers passive income definitely gives it a boost, in most cases you still won't earn very much money with it. Expect around $5-$10 a month at best.

Low pay, not worth the compromised security
If you don't mind selling your leftover SMS messages - which to some people might seem a bit sketchy - and you have an inifinte plan for SMS messages, and your mobile network allows it, then yes I think that this is a good app for you. You can think of it as turning your ""trash"" - your unused SMS messages into ""treasure"" - money.
However I personally wouldn't recommend it: you barely get any money, and (I find) it's not worth the compromised security and so on.
- it's passive income - you don't have to do much, just set up a couple things and you're off on your way!
- their app is very easy and user-friendly - it doesn't take much effort to figure things out and make money.
- Low rewards, especially for what they offer: the highest maximum money they will let you sell is €0.0050 per SMS message, and no one will buy at that level
- The app is only compatible with Android devices. Bad news if you have an Apple or anything else
- High transaction fee for some of the payment methods
- You have to allow the app to send messages from your phone: sometimes it doesn't feel very safe or secure, and the low reward isn't, personally, worth it for me
- don't put the price on an SMS message too high - no one will buy it then. The best range is about €0.0029 per SMS message sent or so.
- When asked to choose which countries you can send messages to, I recommend selecting only your country as it would be counterproductive to let the app to send messages to other countries (it costs more)
