The primary way to earn/save money with Shopmium is via the app's cashback offers.

Here's how it works:

1. Browse through the available cashback offers on the Shopmium app. When you see a product you're interested in and you like the cashback offer, activate it.
2. Shop for the product either online or in-store. Keep your receipt!
3. Scan the receipt into the Shopmium app or upload the digital receipt, then scan each product's barcode to verify the purchase, and your cashback will be sent for approval.

Other ways to earn on Shopmium include:

• Shopmium party. This is a challenge you can complete. Opt-in by tapping the "Participate" button in the app. Then, complete the required number of cashback requests during the specified period to earn extra Shopmium credits (more info on credits below).
• Referrals. Share your unique referral code and receive £3 worth of Shopmium credits once your referral signs up with your code and their cashback request has been accepted. You can’t directly redeem Shopmium credits but it is used to top up your own cashback requests so you can possibly get your purchased product(s) for free or for a cheaper price.

Shopmium credits (earned from the two extra opportunities above) are paid out when you claim a cashback offer. For example, if you claim $1 of cashback on a $3 product and you have $2 worth of Shopmium credits in your account, Shopmium will add those credits onto the cashback claim, giving you $3 in cashback instead of $1 (essentially making the product free).

In other words, redeeming cashback offers will turn your Shopmium credits into cash.

The Shopmium app also offers something called Shopmium Club, where loyal users are given certain perks and exclusive rewards. Depending on your level, some of the perks and rewards include:

• Faster cashback payments.
• Exclusive competitions.
• Offer previews.
• Birthday and gold status anniversary gifts (these must be redeemed within 14 days of showing up).
• Priority customer service access.
• Participation in the Shopmium community life like participating in surveys and focus groups.

There are two tiers of levels:

• Silver: Achievable by exploring available offers, saving an offer to your "My Selection," scanning a barcode, and submitting a cashback offer. Once unlocked, this level is permanent.
• Gold: Achievable by submitting 10 cashback requests and sharing your referral code. To maintain it, you must also submit at least 1 cashback request every 30 days, otherwise, you'll be reset to silver and have to restart.

Once you have earned any amount of money (there's no minimum payout), you can cash out your Shopmium earnings via Charity Donations, Direct Deposit or PayPal.

After cashing out, you can expect to receive your Shopmium payout in 2-10 days. (Shopmium typically processes cashback payouts within 2 business days. You can then expect to wait another 2-6 business days for the transfer to hit your account. Direct deposits will be slower than PayPal payouts.)
