Earning Money 💵
Earning money as a ServiceScape freelance all depends on your ability to land clients. Since you're at the whim of the ServiceScape freelancer directory, it's important to optimize your profile for the best chance of (1) Gaining the attention of clients and (2) Getting them to hire you.
When building your profile, ServiceScape recommends writing a strong description, listing all your credentials, and adding portfolio pieces. You can review other successful freelancers' profiles for an idea of what to do with yours.
To increase your chances of making sales, you can add pre-set service offerings to your profile. For example, if you were a writer, you could have a "Write a 1,000-word blog post" service offering. Then, if a potential client lands on your profile, they could order that service at the click of a button.
Once you land a client, all communication, project management tasks, and payments happen directly through ServiceScape. You set your own prices but do keep in mind that ServiceScape takes a 50% commission on all earnings.
Cashing Out 💰
Once you have earned any amount of money (there's no minimum payout), you can cash out your ServiceScape earnings via Check, Direct Deposit or PayPal.
After cashing out, you can expect to receive your ServiceScape payout in 30-40 days.
