Creating a Remitly account is free. To get started, head over to the website or download the app and sign up.

During the signup process, you'll be asked for an email address and password.

To send money on Remitly:

First, you'll need your recipients name, address, phone number, and other relevant information based on your transfer type (e.g. for a bank transfer, you'll need their bank info).

From there, you can initiate the transfer on the Remitly app or website. Just go to the "send money" section, enter the amount, select the delivery method, and follow the prompts.

Once your transfer is initiated, you can track it directly through your account.

To receive money on Remitly:

Receiving money from a Remitly sender is straightforward as most of the work is done by the sender. Once the sender completes the transfer, you'll receive a notification with instructions when the money is delivered or available for pickup.

As a receiver, you don't need a Remitly account.

Remitly only charges a transfer fee to senders. This fee will vary by currency, destination, and delivery speed. You can see how much your transfer will cost before you send it.
