Getting Started 🔢
Becoming a Perksy member is free. To get started, download the app and create your account.
After signing up, you'll be asked to provide some demographic data about yourself (e.g. education level, cultural background, living situation, etc.). This info helps Perksy match you up with relevant surveys.
Earning Money 💵
The primary way to earn money with the Perksy app is by answering Stacks (aka surveys).
Stack topics are usually related to things like hobbies, lifestyle, purchasing decisions, and similar.
Stacks mostly contain multiple-choice questions, but some may require short written answers as well. Still, most take no more than 1-5 minutes to complete, and you'll be able to see the estimated time to complete a stack before you start it.
Also, Perksy stacks don't disqualify without pay, so you'll always be rewarded.
You can also earn money on Perksy with referrals. For each new member you refer to the app who completes their demographic info, you'll earn 100 points.
Cashing Out 💰
Once you have at least $25 (~2,500 Points) in your balance, you can cash out your Perksy earnings via Gift Cards.
After cashing out, you can expect to receive your Perksy payout instantly.
How Perksy Works For Clients
Perksy clients can utilize the platform's market research tools to conduct real-time research with everyday people. Surveys (known as stacks) can be created directly on the platform and distributed to Perksy app members based on a variety of demographic targeting options.

- Create your survey. Perksy provides in-house software for this, with 10 question types to choose from (incl. multiple-choice, thumbs up/thumbs down, emoji reaction, open response, and more).
- Choose your targeting. You can target Perksy members with a variety of demographic targeting options, including age, sex, gender identity, nationality, sexual orientation, cultural background, and more.
- Run it. As you receive survey responses, they'll populate directly in your Perksy dashboard. You can view a simple overview of your campaigns, or get a deeper look at each question and response.

Is Perksy Legit?
Perksy has had a controversial history. When the app was first founded in 2015, it ran smoothly for quite a while, and then around 2022/2023, it started having a lot of payout issues on the earner side of things. Those payout issues began being resolved in 2023, with Perksy sending out an apology through the app and a way for users to cash out their existing points, but at this point, it's unclear if the app will be coming back to full operation.
At the time of writing (Oct 2023), the Perksy app is currently unavailable on both app stores.
Due to the fact that Perksy has come out and paid out existing users, we do believe the company is legit, but they've definitely handled this issue far too slowly.

Is Perksy Worth It for Members? Is It a Good Way to Make Money?
Perksy had a lot of potential when it was first released, and it could still be a great survey app, but it needs work. Until it fixes its payout problems and support quality, it's tough to recommend to anyone.

Has potential, but needs better management
Perksy has had a very strange run. When it was actively working, it was pretty good and had a lot of potential. The surveys were fun to answer and they paid well. The minimum payout was pretty high, but payout options were pretty good and payouts were instant. The biggest problem the app had was the lack of surveys.
Then, all of a sudden between 2021-2023 (I'm not exactly sure), payouts just stopped working and support stopped answering any messages.
Fast forward to September/October 2023, and I got a Perksy video stack. I had already thought the app was done for, so this was quite a surprise. I opened up the stack right away, and it was a message from Perksy apologizing for the "recent" payout problems, saying they're working on getting things working again, and offering payout right then and there.
So, I received the money that was sitting in my account (finally). I thought this money was completely lost, so that was really nice. BUT, the Perksy app is still nowhere to be seen on either the Apple app store or Google Play, so I have no idea if Perksy is actually making a comeback.
If they are coming back, they have a lot of work to do to rebuild they're reputation, which wasn't even great in the first place. And they'll need to be running smoothly for a while before I recommend them.

There are definitely many other apps and sites where anyone can make a lot more money a lot faster.
I don't think Perksy is a bad app at all, but I definitely don't think it would be the right choice for someone who wants something to be a consistent source of extra money. It's an interesting and fun app that I think would have a lot of potential, but I think that most people who try apps like these both want and expect something where they will be able to accumulate extra money at least somewhat quickly. If it wasn't just so easy to use and non-obstructive to keep on my phone, it would not have been worth waiting two years to earn $20. Overall, it kind of gives me the impression that it just has some untapped potential. It's a very well-made and interesting app that I think could be a lot more useful than it currently seems to be.
- It is quite different from other survey apps and websites! The overall setup is a bit unusual, and the creators have definitely made an effort at making the app have a sort of ""fun"" vibe. There are animations on many of the pages that reference things like pop culture and memes.
- It includes a lot of different options for gift cards.
- Even though the overall layout is very original and even a bit unusual, it is still easy to use/navigate.
- When I finally was able to cash out, I got my reward instantly and without any problems.
- Earning anything from Perksy has been extremely slow. Honestly, if it wasn't for the fact that it's just very convenient to use when I do happen to get a notification about a stack, I probably would have stopped using it by now. I'm not sure if this is what everyone's experience on Perksy is like, but it has just been hard for me to get anything. I started using the app in mid-July 2019, and I was only able to get a reward in early July of this year.
- Sort of related to the above, but the minimum amount of points needed to earn a gift card is 2200, which is equal to $20. Considering how long it seems to take to actually earn that amount, I think the app would be a lot better (at least for users) if there were smaller denominations available.
- Awhile ago, they had an option in the app that allowed users to take surveys on an external site in order to earn additional points on Perksy. I tried this for a little while, but the amount of points I accumulated from doing it didn't really seem to be worth the time, and as far as I can tell, this option is no longer something that exists in the app.
- Make sure you have notifications turned on for Perksy, as this is the only way to find out about new stacks unless you are regularly checking the app.
- When you do get a new stack, make sure to open it and start working on it sometime soon, because they usually expire within a few hours.
