Getting Started 🔢
To become an Octopus Group member, go to the website and click the "Register" button at the top of the page. When signing up, you'll be asked to provide your AU or NZ mobile number and email address. The registration process is completely free.
After registering, wait for a notification (via email or the app) to participate in an online survey. You can also log in through the site and check for available surveys on your dashboard.
To increase your chances of receiving relevant surveys, it's recommended to log in and fill out your Octopus Group survey profile. This involves answering questions about yourself and your household, and helps the platform match you with opportunities.

Earning Money 💵
Once you receive a survey, you'll be able to see what it's about, how much it pays, and how long it is (approximately).
When answering surveys, be sure to read the questions carefully and answer honestly. This will increase your chances of qualifying and receiving more surveys in the future.
If you don't qualify though, don't worry too much; Octopus Group will still give you a small $0.05 consolation bonus.
On top of more in-depth surveys, Octopus Group may also occasionally send you polling questions. These are short questions that can help you get selected for additional opportunities and also earn you entries into the platform's monthly $5 prize draw.
Aside from online surveys and polls, Octopus Group also has a Refer-a-Friend program that allows you to earn up to $20 per friend. If you like to earn a little money on the site, I definitely would recommend it.
It is good for earning a little cash on the side, but I wouldn't consider it a job. It's an honest site that pays you once you have acquired the set amount and you receive your money quite quickly if you request to redeem it before the deadline. The surveys aren't that long either and take very little time to complete. The only downside is that they pay under $5 AUD for each survey.
It pays for every survey you partake in, even if you don't qualify you get a compensation. Surveys don't take too long to complete. It doesn't take much of your time. If you refer it to your friends, you get $1 for every survey they complete.
They give you surveys, so it takes some time to be able to redeem the money.
Be patient, the surveys might take some time to be offered to you, but soon you'll have a few of them waiting for you. Make sure to check your emails so you can see when you have an available survey.
