Earning Money 💵
There are a few ways to earn money with National Consumer Panel:
- Sharing purchase history. Share the products you've purchased by scanning their barcodes into the NCPMobile app. For products without barcodes (like fruits and vegetables, meats, baked goods, gas, and prescriptions), provide details manually. You may also be asked for information about your shopping trip, like the store you purchased from, whether the products were purchased online, if you used a store loyalty card, and the prices of each product purchased.
- Submitting your shopping trips will increase your "C-Score" in the NCPMobile app. The higher your score, the more points you'll earn per week. But if you forget to submit a shopping trip one week, your score may go down.
- TreasureTrove weekly bonus. This is a game within the NCPMobile app. You'll earn 1 play for every additional shopping trip you scan for the week after your first trip. With your play, open a chest within the game to receive bonus points. You can only receive the points from one chest each week, so the more plays you get, the better chances you have of opening the highest point chest.
- Surveys. These surveys may ask about your shopping habits, preferences, and opinions.
- Special studies. In some cases, you may get invited to special opportunities like:
- Longer-term diary studies (e.g. record your weekly food intake).
- Product testing
Cashing Out 💰
Once you have at least $5 (~4,167-5,000 Points) in your balance, you can cash out your National Consumer Panel earnings via Gift Cards, PayPal, Physical Products or Prepaid Credit Cards.
After cashing out, you can expect to receive your National Consumer Panel payout in 1-7 days. (Payout speeds will be longer for physical product redemptions.)
