Our Editorial microWorkers Review
Is microWorkers Legit?
We believe that microWorkers is legit for three main reasons: it's been operating since 2009, is owned and operated by Weblabcenter.com (a registered U.S.-based company), and it does have success stories from workers online.
That said, some things that might put people off of the platform is its identity verification requirements and out of date privacy policy/data protection and handling terms.
Green flags:
- Founded in 2009.
- Owned and operated by Weblabcenter.com, Inc., a domestic-for-profit type of company providing the microWorkers service, based in Frisco, Texas, United States.
- Has an active social media presence.
- Has few online complaints considering the age and size of the platform.
- Has a well-designed website with transparent information about how the platform works and what users can expect before joining.
Red flags:
- Requires KYC verification before workers can withdraw their earnings.
- Outdated information from privacy policy agreement about activating withdrawals. The latest update requires KYC verification from workers but from the agreement, it's still via mailing the postal PIN code.
- While there are security measures in place, it provides vague details on how it handles and protects user data.
Note: All research is done independently and could be wrong or change as new information is gathered. Please do your own due diligence.

Not recommended unless you need the pennies badly.
It's relatively bad, it has cumbersome tasks and slow payouts.Good for making some few cents and not serious money.
- Small tasks which are easy.
- Some tasks pay better
- Cumbersome and tiring
- Small number of tasks
- Low quality jobs
- Spamming of the job board
- Start with the low ranked tasks to gain experience
- I take short tasks which are easier to complete and I stack them up for higher earnings.
- Ask professionals for help when stuck.
Has a variety of tasks to choose from
Average. A little bit tweaking is needed to make it better. Still, it's a quick way to make a quick dollar.
- Easy and quick micro tasks
- Content moderation and categorization are the easiest tasks
- Surveys pay less
- Sometimes the work load can be cumbersome and irritating.
- Start with easy tasks first (social media based tasks are good)
- Register and verify your account
- Learn some basic in app skills for more tasks
Whichever way you use. You cannot make more than $3/hr.
I prefer working on this site at your own free time and don't take this as a job you can make money with.
- The site is legit. It pays.
- Tasks are paying too low.
- Don't expect to earn more than the minimum wage.
