Becoming a Makeena member is free. To get started, download the Makeena app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and create an account.

During signup, you'll be asked to provide your:

• Email
• Name
• Zip code.

You can also sign up via an existing Facebook or Apple account.

From there, you'll be asked to provide some info about yourself and your shopping habits, including things like your:

• Family size
• Cooking habits
• Product preferences
• Food preferences
• and more

There are a few ways to earn/save money on Makeena:

1. Receipt scanning and cashback. Scan any grocery receipt (up to 3 times per week), or find eligible products and brands in the Makeena app, purchase those products anywhere you can find them, and scan their barcodes and receipts to earn more rewards.
   • 20 new offers added every week.
   • All receipts must be submitted while the cashback offer is still active.
   • In-store receipts must be submitted within 7 days of purchase.
   • Online receipts must be submitted within 10 days.
   • You can only redeem the same individual cashback offer once every 24 hours.
   • Purchases made with gift cards are not eligible for cashback.
   • Makeena may take up to 10 days to verify your cashback and credit it to your account.
2. Brand tasks. Brands that you engage with on Makeena may offer specific paid opportunities to you including things like:
   • Engaging with them on social media.
   • Following their newsletter.
   • Completing surveys.
   • Taking product display photos.
   • and more.
3. Referrals. Share your Makeena referral code to earn $1 per referral (up to 10 referrals) when they sign up using your code and their first receipt is approved. If you would like to refer more than 10 new members, you can reach out to Makeena and sign a Makeena Affiliate Agreement.

Once you have at least $20 (~20,000 Points) in your balance, you can cash out your Makeena earnings via Digital Products, PayPal, Physical Products or Venmo.

After cashing out, you can expect to receive your Makeena payout in 0-30 days. (Most payouts are sent within 10 days, but in some cases, the verification process can take up to 30 days.)

By becoming a Makeena brand partner, you can have your products featured on the Makeena app to increase brand awareness and grow sales.

Through your campaigns, you can target specific shoppers, send exclusive offers to specific buyers, create joint promos with other brands, and more.

As you work with Makeena, your brand dashboard will fill up with a variety of insights including:

Makeena has two primary fees:

• Launch fee (typically from $1,500-$10k+)
• Monthly fee (typically from $100-$1,000+)

As a brand, you'll also need to pay for the rewards that shoppers receive for engaging with your brand and purchasing your products through Makeena. Makeena doesn't take a cut or charge a fee on these rewards.
