Getting Started 🔢
Becoming an IntelliZoom panelist is free. To get started, head over to the platform's website and create an account. You can do this by signing up via email.
Before you can complete a paid study, you'll need to complete an unpaid practice study to familiarize yourself with the testing process and ensure that your device meets the minimum testing requirements.
After completing the practice test, expect to receive your results in a week or less. You are only allowed one attempt. Once you're approved, you'll become eligible for paid studies and start receiving study invitations via email.
It's also a good idea to fill out your profile fully at this point. This involves answering questions about yourself (hobbies and interests, financials, technology, etc.). Your answers will help IntelliZoom match you to relevant tasks.

Earning Money 💵
IntelliZoom offers a variety of paid study types:
- TOL (Think Out Loud) usability tests. Express your thoughts aloud while completing tasks. Your face and voice will be recorded. Even if you're unsure about a task, continue to speak your mind.
- Card sort surveys. Organize a list of items into specific categories.
- SSCT (Screenshot Click Test). Receive a static image and be prompted to indicate where you would click to locate specific items.
- Questionnaire surveys. Gauge your attitudes or opinions on certain topics that often ask open-ended and multi-choice questions.
- Online interviews. Engage in a virtual meeting led by a moderator, who may ask you to share your screen. Sessions can be one-on-one or with a group.
- Diary studies. Complete tasks and document your thoughts and findings over a designated period. These usually pay more than $10 considering the time commitment required.
Most studies will have screener questions beforehand that you'll have to answer to qualify for the paid portion.
For unmoderated studies (like surveys), typical earnings are around $1-$8, but may be more depending on the length and complexity of the study.
For moderated studies, you'll earn at least $30 for 30 minute studies and $60 for 60 minute studies.

We believe that IntelliZoom is legit for three main reasons: it was founded in 2007, has few complaints online, and is owned and operated by UserTesting Inc., which is one of the most popular and well-known usability testing companies on the web. One red flag is IntelliZoom's lack of recent social media presence, but we still don't believe its a scam.
Green flags:

- Created by UserZoom, Inc., a U.S. based UX research company that was acquired in April of 2023 by UserTesting Inc., a very widely recognized platform for usability testing and user research.
- Few online complaints considering its age.
- Has a well-designed website with transparent information about how the platform works and what users can expect before joining.

Easily earn extra income during your free time without much hassle
They are a very legitimate website where you can earn good money for a few minutes. The tasks are not available throughout but come up once in a while
- There are very easy tasks which take very less time to complete making it easy money for a short time.
- They take very long to make payments. Thats after 21 days.
- The studies dry up once in a while and this has made my hourly rate to fluctuate.
