Honeygain is a legitimate way to get paid passively to share your internet, but it does come with a bit of risk. There's no way to be sure what your internet will be used for and there's a chance that using the service will get your IP blacklisted as a VPN.
Safety Rating: 3/5
Although Honeygain doesn't collect much personal information, by joining the network and selling your internet, you're letting any Honeygain customer access the internet from your IP address/device.
While Honeygain says they only give trusted partners and high-reputation companies access to the network, there's no real way to confirm this. They signed a contract with Oxylabs back in 2021, but Oxylabs is a proxy provider itself so that still doesn't tell us who the end user is.
Fortunately, Honeygain does claim to vet all clients, approve use cases individually, and monitor all activity throughout the entire customer lifespan. The only potential problem is if a client does something against the rules on your connection, they can still do damage before Honeygain shuts them down. This is probably unlikely and only a small concern, but it's worth noting.
As far as other safety concerns: there have been multiple reports of Honeygain users having their IP blacklisted as a VPN from services like survey sites or even streaming sites.
Similarly, after joining Honeygain, some users noticed an uptick in sites asking them to solve captchas to prove their humanity. This is just a small inconvenience, but might still be annoying for some.

Basically free money, but takes a long time
It is a site that pays to share your internet connection. You need not do any work or put in any time after doing the initial steps. It takes a very long time to accumulate the minimum amount that can be withdrawn. But hey, it's free money.

It is easy to use, you will just let it open and it will works. However, since it is a passive income, it took me 6 months after I have my first withdrawal. Almost 10 gb worth of traffic is just equal to 1 USD and that is so long before you have it.
