Earning Money 💵
The primary way to earn money on Focus Group is by participating in research studies.
There are a variety of study types available on the platform, including:
- Online surveys. Answer online forms through your computer or smartphone. Before taking a survey, you'll be able to see how much it pays, the device requirements, and the time it takes to complete.
- Focus groups. Answer researcher questions as part of a group, typically in a face-to-face format.
- Video diaries. Record things (like your eating habits) over a set time period (e.g. a week).
- Product tests. Test physical products and provide feedback.
- Interviews. Talk with a researcher 1-on-1 either via webcam, over the phone, or in-person.
Whichever type study you take, you may be asked for your opinions and experiences on a wide range of topics like technology, healthcare, food, and more.
Most studies will have a pre-screening test to determine whether you're a qualified participant.
Other ways to (potentially) earn on FocusGroup.com include:
- Referrals. There's a way to refer new users to the platform, but it's unclear whether you'll be paid for this or not.

Our Editorial FocusGroup.com Review
Is FocusGroup.com Legit?
We believe that Focus Group is legit for three main reasons: it was founded in 2002, is owned and operated by SS Holdings LLC (a U.S.-based marketing research company founded in 1966), and it has positive reviews across the web. The platform requires ID verification for registration and some users complain about payment delays, but overall, we have no reason to believe FocusGroup.com is a scam.
Green flags:
- Founded in 2002.
- Owned and operated by SS Holdings LLC, a market research company founded in 1966 and based in Iselin, New Jersey, United States.
- Has raised $1.3M+ in venture funding.
- Has social media presence (though hasn’t been active for a few months).
- Few online complaints considering its age.
- Has a well-designed website with transparent information about how the platform works and what users can expect before joining.
Red flags:
- Requires ID verification upon registration.
- Some members report delays in receiving payments.

Great pay if you don't mind the wait !
As I said sago or focus group com, has been around a long time they are one of the heavy hitters in this field with millions of members. They pay great, they are a global company with clients all over the world. The few people I spoke with were friendly and helpful, focus group is one of my new favorites id recommend it to anyone who doesn't mind the 10 wait on the incentives.
I like this platform their website is easy to use I get email notifications every couple of days about different groups to apply to. This is a huge company one of the old timers they've got irons in alot of fires. Seems to be plenty of work.
This really didn't bother me too much but I know it will a lot of people. Their incentives are paid in points 100 pts = $1.00. You then redeem these points on the website through "focus group wallet" you can then pick from numerous gift cards or virtual visa or physical visa but here's the kicker, it takes 10 business days to get it. I didn't mind too much, they are a big, reputable company (sago) and I knew I'd get my money but I wouldn't get mad if it were easier.
You got to get on the site and apply. You gotta do the leg work but there seems to be plenty to do. They also have surveys, clinical studies and other studies on their website they also have a face book page I recommend checking it often. Alot of these companies offer there best groups or studies on their Facebook page.
