Earning Money 💵
There are a variety of ways to earn money on CashKarma:
- Completing Surveys. Answer questions and earn.
- Completing Offers. These include things like signups, trial offers, gaming challenges, and more.
- Location-based tasks. (U.S. only) Enable location sharing and you'll receive notifications when you're near specific retailers. Open those notifications (no purchase necessary) to earn. You'll can also occasionally find barcode scanning tasks within the app. For these, you can go to a store, scan specific barcodes, and earn.
- Playing games. Earn for playing apps for a specific amount of time (10 points when you play 5 minutes, 15 points when you play 15 minutes, etc …) or for completing certain milestones within the apps.
- Achievement badges. Get extra bonuses and points by earning achievement badges. Each achievement badge has different requirements (e.g. "Check-in 10 times", "Complete 5 offers", etc.).
- Leveling up. Reach earning milestones (e.g. "Earn 5,000 total points") to get lifetime earning bonuses. These will increase your earnings across the platform by 5%-12.5%.
- Daily check-ins. Check the app daily to earn scratch and win cards. Check-in multiple days in a row for extra bonuses.
- Referrals. Share your invite link/referral code and earn a 30% commission on everything your referrals earn + 500 points when they earn their first reward.
Cashing Out 💰
Once you have at least $1.00 (~1,000-1,852 Points) in your balance, you can cash out your CashKarma earnings via Gift Cards or PayPal.

We believe Cashkarma is legit. The platform has been around since July 2016 and is backed by a legitimate U.S.-based LLC called Darfield Software, which was founded in 2013. The founder, Andrew Lin, was easy to find as well.
On top of this, CashKarma seems to have largely positive reviews from users. There are some negative reviews coming in for the platform each month, but considering the app has over a million downloads, that's to be expected.

Reaching the minimum payout threshold takes time
- Most surveys are quick to complete
- There is bonus when you sign in everyday
- They also have very good referral scheme
- A lot of ads are available in the app which can be annoying.
- Low task pay really impacts earning negatively. To reach the $10 payout threshold is very difficult and will take time.
