Becoming a Brave Rewards member is free. To get started, all you have to do is download the Brave Browser on your device. From there, go to Settings -> Brave Rewards and select how often you'd like to receive ads. The more ads you opt in for, the higher your earning potential.
Next, you'll need to link a custodial wallet (either Uphold, Gemini, bitFlyer, or ZebPay) to your Brave Rewards account. You won't earn or get paid without linking a custodial wallet first.

Earning Money 💵
Earning money on Brave Rewards is very straightforward. Once your account is setup and you're opted in to see ads, all you have to do is use the Brave Browser like normal.
As you browse the web, watch videos, and do other internet-related activities, you may see Brave advertisements. Every time you see an ad, you'll earn a little bit of BAT.
The types of ads you may see include notifications, new-tab display ads, or newsfeed ads (which are also on the new tab screen).
Cashing Out 💰
Once you have earned any amount of money (there's no minimum payout), you can cash out your Brave Rewards earnings via Cryptocurrency.

An all-around great browser but has low earning potential
Brave is an overall good platform that provides a great ad-free and private browsing experience plus a passive-earning opportunity. You won't lose anything when switching to this browser, it's a better alternative even. There's no hassle to using this browser since the ads are simply shown on the side for a few seconds then you'll earn a certain amount of BAT for viewing it. Since BAT is cryptocurrency, there's a possibility that this token may or may not increase in value over time. Either way, you still earn a passive income for simply using the browser and viewing ads.
I like that Brave offers a secured browsing experience for its users, blocking any ads and cookies from websites. Using the browser also comes with earning passive income in the form of BAT, their own cryptocurrency token.
I dislike how low the earning potential is with this platform. Although it's a passive type of income, I still got less ads compared to other users in countries where there are more ads targeted for them. On top of that, Brave also had limited payout options for users in the Philippines. When Brave was still supported in the Philippines, Uphold and Gemini were the only payout options. Signing up to either exchanges then is impossible because they both don't support accounts in the country. Until it came to a point when users can no longer earn from ads before Brave no longer supports Philippines.
The best strategy is to set the ads shown per month/week to the maximum amount and use this browser consistently to maximize ad-viewing.
