Getting Started 🔢
To become a BrandBee user, head over to Google Play Store and download the app. You can create your account by signing in with an existing Google or Facebook account.
After signing in, you'll be asked to share your location (you can disable this after) and enable app activity collection and browsing data collection (this must be kept on for you to receive daily data-sharing points).
BrandBee will also ask if you want to share your phone number and carrier information, which is optional, but they say it will increase your chances of receiving relevant surveys.

Earning Money 💵
There are three (3) earning opportunities on BrandBee at the moment:
- Data sharing. By granting BrandBee access to your app activity data (apps used) and browsing data (pages viewed), you'll get paid daily points (5+ points). Your data is used by Similarweb (the parent company) for market research purposes and insights.
- Surveys. Sourced from a variety of third-party survey providers, these ask for your brand perceptions, marketing campaigns, technological preferences, consumer habits, and more. Answer and earn.
- Online Shopping. Shop through the available stores within the app and earn cashback from your purchases. Cashback amounts vary per brand.
Cashing Out 💰
Once you have at least $1.00 (~100-152 Points) in your balance, you can cash out your BrandBee earnings via Gift Cards or Prepaid Credit Cards.
After cashing out, you can expect to receive your BrandBee payout in 0-1 days.

Is BrandBee Legit?
We believe BrandBee is legit. It was launched in 2013, is owned and operated by Similarweb (an analytics company that acquired the platform from Embee Mobile in 2021), and it has positive reviews across the web. The only red flag we could find is that BrandBee requires app usage and browser data sharing from members, but this is more of a privacy concern rather than a trust issue. Overall we have no reason to believe BrandBee is a scam.
Green flags:
- Launched in 2013.
- Owned and operated by Similarweb (a well-known company for website and app analytics), which acquired the platform from Embee Mobile Inc. in 2021.
- Has raised venture funding of $280K.
- Has an active social media presence.
- Has few online complaints considering its age, with positive reviews across the web.
- Has a well-designed website, with transparent information on how the platform works and what users can expect before joining.
Red flags:

Until brandbee took over, MPM was a fantastic app, I never had an issue in all the years it ran on my phone. I don't appreciate being cheated out of points I was saving.
I had great things to say about the app, until brandbee took over and cheated me out of 2500 points. Contacted their CS, followed their instructions, still no gift card for my points, contacted again, and never heard another word. Scammy is how I'd now describe the app.
Their lack of support, failure to respond to messages, the fact the app just stops randomly, and the fact that it took my points when I tried to cash out and I got nothing. Nada.
Sits in the background and earns points while you do other stuff.
Earning points is fast and easy, if you don't mind having a performance meter on your phone.
