Round-Up Savings (Opportunity Overview)
Round-up savings are a type of automated savings that happen every time a purchase is made on a round-up-enabled account or card. After linking an account to a round-up savings service and making a purchase, it's "rounded up" — typically to the nearest dollar — and the extra is saved. For example, a $2.50 purchase would be rounded up to $3.00, and the extra $0.50 would be transferred to savings. Many different banks, financial institutions, and fintech platforms offer this type of savings strategy.
