The amount of money you make for selling your data will vary based on who you're selling it to, how in-demand your data is, and how much data you're supplying (e.g. if you're selling location data but not moving around much, you're probably going to make less than someone who often visits stores, goes for walks, etc.)
Different data is valuable to different organizations. However, the most valuable type of data (besides highly sensitive stuff like your credit card info or social security number, which you should never share) is probably device usage data or location data. Both of these can be used to directly improve products, services, and marketing strategies, which can translate to real revenue increases for companies.

Getting paid for your data has its pros and cons. On one hand, it's extremely easy and mostly passive income. On the other, it doesn't always pay very much money and requires you to allow yourself to be tracked and monitored.
